Frequently Asked Questions
What is a reformer?
A reformer is a Pilates machine with a moving carriage, springs and straps. The springs provide resistance or support for different exercises. Your instructor explains the settings and how to use the equipment.
Can I join if I am injured, pregnant or returning after birth?
Please contact us before booking so we can discuss the class options and instructor support you need. Talia and Joyce are pre- and postnatal trained. A group class is not a substitute for individual rehabilitation advice; if you have an injury or medical concern, check with your healthcare professional.
Which class should a beginner choose?
Book Primera for a steady introduction to the equipment and main movements. Clásica is for clients familiar with the basics, while Dinámica is for experienced reformer clients.
What does reformer Pilates work on?
Regular practice can help develop strength, balance, flexibility and coordination. Classes combine resistance exercises, controlled movement and mobility work.
What should I wear and bring?
Wear comfortable exercise clothes and grip socks, and bring water. Grip socks are required and can be purchased at the studio. All class equipment is provided.
